Get active

Spending just 30 minutes a day being physically active can really benefit your health. As well as increasing your energy levels, it will help you manage your weight, reduce stress and even improve your sleep patterns. In the long term, exercise can also reduce your risk of heart disease, cancer, osteoporosis, high blood pressure and many other conditions.

There are lots of things you can do to increase your activity levels gradually, such as walking more often and taking the stairs instead of the lift. You could also try out different sporting activities to see which suit you the best – by finding something you enjoy, you’ll be much more likely to stick to it in the long term.
